Casa Calzada Herrera

Rooms

The house is made up of two air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, a dining room (also with air-conditioning) and a couple of charming sitting rooms with a television, stereo and vibrant artworks on the walls (owner, Carmen, is a talented artist). Both bedrooms are to the rear of the house so are particularly quiet

.

On the second floor, the generous sized, light-filled sitting room has three large balcony windows and is air-conditioned. The other cosy, snug-like sitting room is ideal for cooler nights with a good book and glass of wine this also has air-conditioning. The decoration throughout is bright, fun and bohemian reflecting its artist owners. There is Wifi throughout the house.

*The five air-conditioning units can be used for cool or hot air.

Outdoor Space

There is a pretty patio and terrace. The modern kitchen opens out on to a lovely plant-filled patio for long, lazy lunches. The terrace is on the second floor and although does not have views is large enough for two sun-loungers and is very private. The patio has a table and chairs for four people and is ideal for dining.

Location

Sitting in the historic centre of Velez-Malaga, the specific area is known as San Francisco. The nearest free parking is under 50 metres away. However, there is a private garage 300 metres away that can be used with no extra cost. The nearest convenience shop is 1 minute’s walk away as is the nearest cafe. This area is ideally situated to explore Velez-Malaga’s historic sites and galleries. Everything you would need is a short stroll away.

Prices

Range from €450 for a minimum week’s stay. Electric is not included, you simply pay for what you use. Please contact us for special rates for stays over one month.

Artist Open House
